Overview

At a glance

Carbrook Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course on Beenleigh Redland Bay Road at Carbrook, between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, with visitor tee times bookable online. Golfers often mention its tidy fairways, well-kept greens and the water and creeks that come into play.

How it compares

  • One of the highest-rated courses around Brisbane on Google: 4.6 from 363 reviews (typical 4.3).

Carbrook Golf Club is an 18-hole course on about 92 hectares at Carbrook, in the Logan and Redlands area south-east of Brisbane. The club describes it as a championship course and offers visitor tee times through its online booking calendar; motorised carts are available. Par and length aren't published on the pages checked, so we haven't listed them. Golfers often mention how well the fairways and greens are kept, and several call it one of the better layouts in Brisbane for the price. The course runs alongside a river with streams and ponds in play on many holes, which brings variety and some tricky shots, and reviewers note a few tee boxes that aren't flat. Fairways are described as mostly straight, and the course is a pleasant walk. Mosquitoes can be bad after rain, and the area has had flooding, though reviewers say the course recovers well. Cart paths are being added to help with wet conditions. The clubhouse is described as a bit dated but has water views and good coffee and food. A review mentions a change in the 18-hole rate between visits, so confirm the price when booking. It suits social golfers and members after a well-presented course at a modest price.

“Played 18 holes a few weeks ago. This is one of the best course layouts I have played at, and the course was kept very well. Bad mozzies in places, but had a lot of rain leading up to when we played. Keen to come back again soon!”
