At a glance

How it compares

Championship length
  • 6,123 m from the back tees.
  • At 6,123 m it's longer than most 18-hole courses around Brisbane (typical 5,830 m).
  • Rated 4.1 on Google, below the typical 4.3 for courses around Brisbane.
  • One of the most-reviewed courses around Brisbane (573 Google reviews), so it sees plenty of play.

Pacific Golf Club at Carindale has an 18-hole, par 72 main course with four par 3s, ten par 4s and four par 5s. Measured from the blue tees the holes add up to about 6,120 metres. The opening hole is a 525 metre downhill par 5 with a water hazard to lay up before, the 5th is billed by the club as the toughest hole at 403 metres, the 13th is a short par 3 over water, and the 18th is a 502 metre par 5 to a narrow green where finding the fairway matters.

Golfers often mention water features, bunkers and doglegs that reward course management, and describe the fairways as well kept. A couple of reviewers found the greens quick, and a returning golfer said prices had risen since the renovation. Since the club built a new clubhouse, reviewers say the restaurant has a good view of the course, though food and service get mixed feedback.

There is a nine-hole par 3 course that golfers like for beginners and iron practice, an 18-hole mini golf course with two layouts that reviewers rate highly, Trackman simulator lounges, PGA coaching and a pro shop. A driving range is listed as coming at the end of 2026, so it is not open yet. Public players need to register as a public member to book tee times through the club's booking page. It suits social golfers wanting a proper 18 holes close to the city, plus families after mini golf or a meal.
