Overview

At a glance

Nudgee Golf Club in Brisbane's north has two 18-hole courses: the par-72 Kurrai (6,059 m) and the links-style par-70 Bulka (5,706 m) beside Kedron Brook. Visitors can book public tee times online, and the club has a driving range and golf shop.

How it compares

36-hole club
  • Several nines, so you can play different combinations.
  • At 6,059 m it's longer than most 18-hole courses around Brisbane (typical 5,830 m).
  • Rated 4.0 on Google, below the typical 4.3 for courses around Brisbane.

Nudgee has 36 holes across two courses after a major redevelopment. The Kurrai, on the western side, is the more classic championship layout at par 72 and 6,059 metres, with a mix of par 3s from 125 to 181 metres and several par 5s over 475 metres. The Bulka, to the east and bordered by Kedron Brook, is a modern links-style course at par 70 and 5,706 metres, with several short par 3s and long par 5s. Early in 2026 the Kurrai was undergoing renovation work. The club formed in 1930, with the original 18 opening in 1950 and further nines added in 1964 and 1991. Public tee times are booked online, and the website lists 9-hole fees of $55 across the courses, though 18-hole and cart prices were not found. Reviews are mixed: some golfers rate the redevelopment highly and praise the pro shop and booking system, while others say fees are high compared with other northside courses such as Keperra and Virginia, and mention sand on fairways and greens, signage and course-flow issues. The club also has a driving range, lessons, a golf shop, a clubhouse terrace over the course and a function centre. The course is closed Tuesday mornings for maintenance.
