Full-length 18 holes
  • A par-72 layout.

  • One of the most-reviewed courses around Brisbane (536 Google reviews), so it sees plenty of play.

Pacific Harbour Golf & Country Club is on Avon Avenue at Banksia Beach, Bribie Island, in a residential community. Ross Watson designed the par 72 course, which opened in April 2006. The layout has plenty of water, and golfers often mention lakes on nearly every hole, undulating greens and fairways that aren't completely flat. One visitor called it among the best courses they had played in Queensland, though it is well off the main routes from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. Reviews describe the course as well maintained and busy, with some impatient groups, so casual players may want to book quieter times. A reviewer suggested checking the hole map for water before playing. Kangaroos wander across the course. The club is managed by Troon, with a pro shop, driving range, golf lessons and mini golf, and carts are allocated quickly at check-in. The Deck restaurant overlooks the course and is popular for lunch, while The Tides handles weddings and events. The club's social posts mention renovations and temporary closures, so check availability before travelling. Bookings are made through the club's online tee-time page. It suits golfers wanting a scenic, water-heavy test on the island.
