Overview

At a glance

How it compares

Par-3 course
  • Nine short holes, ideal for beginners and a quick hit.
  • One of the highest-rated courses on the Gold Coast on Google: 4.6 from 187 reviews (typical 4.4).

Meadow Park is a short public course in the Tallebudgera valley, made up of seven par 3s and two par 4s that measure about 1300 metres in total. The site gives hole lengths from 97 to 210 metres, so par and total length here are our own sums of the published hole figures. The two par 4s, the 3rd and 4th, are driveable. Water, out-of-bounds and elevated greens are the main hazards, particularly on the 5th to 8th.

Golfers describe a relaxed, uncrowded round of roughly 60 to 80 minutes for nine, easy to walk with a carry bag, in good condition with greens that are more testing than the length suggests. The practice putting green is said to match the speed of the course greens. Reviewers also mention bird life and friendly staff, and one says it has stayed open while other courses were closed after drainage work.

It operates on a walk-up basis, so the club says booking times are a guide only. A nine-hole round is $29 for an adult on weekdays and $32 on weekends and public holidays, with lower rates for seniors and juniors. Carts are $28, club hire is $14 and there are two practice nets. A PGA professional gives private lessons. It suits beginners, families, seniors and anyone sharpening their short game.
