  • Rated 4.0 on Google, below the typical 4.4 for courses on the Gold Coast.

Coplicks is a short, family-run 18-hole course in the Tallebudgera Valley, running along Tallebudgera Creek about 15 minutes' drive inland from the beaches. It plays to par 67 over roughly 4,440 metres from the men's tees (4,346 from the ladies'), so it rewards accuracy rather than length. Golfers often mention the small greens as the main challenge, along with a country feel and green scenery, and say the layout works for all levels. Recent reviews talk about improvements under new management, including upgraded greens and fairways, new carts and a refreshed pro shop stocking Titleist gear. The course is open daily from 5am to 6pm. A visitor round of 18 holes is listed from $40 for a four-hour session. Online bookings are not currently available through the website, so ring on 07 5534 8484, and note that Monday is a competition day, so it pays to call ahead. There is a clubhouse with food and drinks, with reviewers noting the beer is cheap by Gold Coast standards, and coaching is offered from $70 an hour. It suits casual players, beginners and groups looking for good value, and it hosts corporate and charity golf days.
