How it compares

Full-length 18 holes
  • A par-72 layout.
  • Rated 4.4 on Google, about the typical 4.4 for courses on the Gold Coast.
  • One of the most-reviewed courses on the Gold Coast (664 Google reviews), so it sees plenty of play.

The Glades Golf Club is on Glades Drive in Robina and is open to the public every day. The club describes its par 72 course as designed by Greg Norman. Length, year opened and green fees aren't published on the pages we could read, and tee times are booked through the club's TeeItUp page. Golfers often praise the layout, particularly the green complexes, the use of lakes and water around the holes, and fairways that are wide and forgiving in most places. Reviewers also mention turtles and scenic holes. Opinions on conditioning vary. Many describe fairways and greens as excellent, while others report poor bunkers, some of them out of play, pitch-marked greens and patchy bridges and fairways. Pace of play is the most common complaint, with several reports of rounds near five hours and calls for more marshals. Reviewers also say the driving range needs updating. The pro shop staff are often described as friendly and helpful, and the clubhouse has Viva Restaurant and function rooms for 10 to 150 guests. It suits golfers wanting a well-designed Gold Coast course who can accept some wear and slow midday play. Booking early morning times may help avoid congestion.

Our summary of recent Google reviews.

5 out of 5

“Very enjoyable golf course. Most fairways are wide and forgiving, with some great approach shots into tricky green complexes. Have played there numerous times and the greens have always been in excellent condition. Probably my favourite…”

4 out of 5

“Played with 1 other and finished in 3hrs 20. The course was better than I was told, greens and fairways near perfect. Some bunkers had firm sand but most are good.”

Dan, Google, July 2026

4 out of 5

“Course was great and some beautiful challenging holes - however pace of play was shocking as there were groups of singles and pairs in front of us playing alone which made the round almost 5.5 hours and sun went down before we could…”
